Wedding Planning Timeline
Here is a complete wedding planning timeline to follow. Weddings, the one event that fills the enjoyment area in our specific calendars however with every minute of fun comes a whole load of responsibilities that no matter how much we try, cannot be ignored. From the sudden arrival of guests to ruined clothes, it’s too much of a hustle but despite the stress, it promises a bundle of joy, happiness and sadness over the respective daughter finally stepping into the world of womanhood and for the groom finally growing up and taking responsibility.
As much as wedding are supposed to spontaneous and fun, the work load can become a nightmare if not dealt with methodically. Many weddings usually don’t require planners or anything else, they simply go with the flow which results in an immense burden when the wedding dates are near so most of the time during the event all the said people are worried about, the wedding going just perfectly and they spend most of their time worrying about tiny details rather than enjoy the event itself.
Here we are going to provide a perfect timeline which can help you in assembling your work and have a great overall event.
Wedding Planning Timeline
Wedding Planning Should Start at Least a Year Before Its Due Time. So 9 To 8 Months Before, Start with The Following Things:
- Announce your engagement
- Organize your budget
- Discuss with your family and the groom’s family about the events taking place together. Who is going to contribute with the payment and how much?
- Finalize the wedding dates
- Plan the possible venues
- Start shopping for the essentials
- Start scrolling through wedding dresses
- Start searching for respective themes
- Ring your elders personally to give them the news about your wedding
These Are the Things One Should Take Care of in The Beginning. With 4 To 6 Months Left for Your Wedding, Do The Following Stuff:
- Select your bridesmaids and maid of honor and let the respective people know so they can be aware of their duties and come over early to help you out with things
- Select your rings and give an order so that way if there is problem, you’ll have time to sort it out
- Select your dress and give an order. Gowns of brands like Vera Wang take a lot of time, technically 2 to 3 months and although they give you a gown based on precise measurements, there might be some tiny details you might want to add once it’s made. So give an order beforehand to get the perfect dress
- Make a guest list and decide which ones you are going to invite. If your budget is low, then try to reduce the amount of guests in your wedding
- Finalize the guest list
- Start looking for venues. Book appointments and visit them yourself. Online and reality are two different things so make as many appointments as possible so as to get a clearer idea
- Start looking for caterers and vendors
- Make a list of guests that will acquire a hotel
With A Month Left for Your Wedding, Go for The Following Things:
- Book your makeup artists
- Arrange a fitting for your dress and rings. If you feel slight discomfort in either, then tell them so they can have it fixed
- Finalize the guest list and print the invitations
- Book the hotel rooms
- Finalize your caterers
- Finalize your photographer
- Finalize your venue
With A Few Weeks Left:
- Send out the invitations
- Meet your florist and finalize your bouquet
- Have a final fitting of your dress
- Start having spa sessions
- Prepare your vows
