Top Wedding Tips You Can’t Afford To Miss
Check out these top wedding tips you can’t afford to miss. Finally, the season of weddings is here. We’ll have fun, our dresses will be so beautiful, we’ll have bridal showers and many other girl parties, we get to choose a cake and then we’re going to catch the bouquet from your hands while you run off to your prince charming for good. Sounds fun right? Wrong! While all this is extremely fun, it can be severely stressful too. Anything can go wrong in a moment… but if planned carefully, nothing will. So, planning is extremely important and while you’re at it, you might want to take a look at some tips we’re presenting you with so you can fully enjoy your day.
For The Bride
- Assign your closest friends or cousins as your bridesmaids and keep them close in your final days so they can take care of your stuff.
- Make sure you have a little snack before going to your wedding, also drink water before you arrive at your wedding venue.
- Practice wearing high heels if you’re not used to them because you’ll be wearing them for a long time.
- There is a chance the groom’s mother would like to see you before you start the wedding. Sometimes they offer a piece of advice or some heirloom they want you to wear, either way at that time, try to be patient and listen to them calmly and fulfill their wish of heirloom if that’s what they want. However, this happens rarely, you’ll probably be surrounded by your bridesmaids and closed ones at that moment.
For The Groom
- As a groom, you don’t have much responsibilities. All you have to do on your wedding day is put on your suit and try to look as dashing as possible.
- Don’t be one of those grooms who arrive late at their own wedding.
- Try not to drink much before your wedding, if it’s necessary or your friends want to have a toast or something then have one glass of the drink and no more.
General Tips
- Hire the best caterers, in weddings nothing is more annoying than people not getting food on time.
- Before selecting the food and menu, make sure to taste it yourself. The tastier the food, the happy the people. For this purpose, try to get a foodie to come along with you for taste purposes. They’ll give you an honest opinion. And make sure the food is available in good quantity.
- Fireworks make a wedding memorable, however make sure to have them in such a place where there is no threat of somebody getting harmed or injured. Other than this, fire away.
- Hire a good DJ or a band and give them the list of songs you want them to play. Usually bands do a much better job with making the wedding fun, whichever you decide though, you can always hand your favorite songs to them.
- Have a themed wedding or a unique one, weddings tend to be a bit boring because of the same things happening over and over again, if you want to make it fun then go for a themed wedding. You can get a lot of ideas from the internet.
- Be polite to all your guests no matter how tired you are; they will be happy with the respect they get.
- Take care of matters like sweets and small treats way before so that in the final days, you don’t have to worry about them. Also, don’t leave the cake tasting for your final week. Make sure to start browsing through your choices at least a month before the wedding.
Also, do not forget to get this beautiful, decorative wedding time capsule to use in your wedding or reception. It is great for guests to fill out the “message to the future” letters about the bride and groom. Then, on a date of their choosing in the future, they open the wedding time capsule and reminisce about what life was like they year they were married. Priceless. Learn more here.
