Thank You to Our Brides – Wedding Time Capsule

Wedding Trade Show booth

The words “Thank you” can go a long way in the world. This is why, we at The Original Time Capsule company, want to say Thank you to our brides who stopped by our booth at the Shabby Chic Bridal Show this past Sunday presented by Indy Wedding Ideas. Meet two of our happy customers at the Indy Wedding Ideas Bridal Show, who describe their excitement and how they plan on using their Wedding or Baby Time Capsules.

Listen and watch their testimonies on the following videos:

Brides are some of the most refreshing people to meet. They are excited about life, future dreams, and enjoying the daily milestone moments as they build their plans for their big wedding day. Brides help give us ideas of topics to help you plan for your wedding and marriage. Bridal shows help you see the latest trends in weddings and receptions.

We enjoyed meeting brides face-to-face and getting a feel for your personalities. Time capsules have been around for years; however the decorative Wedding Time Capsule is different. It is not meant to be buried. This artistic wedding time capsule is meant to be displayed somewhere in your home for others to say, “What is that?” or “What is your story” with the wedding time capsule?

Many brides are using the wedding time capsule as a guest book sign in, during the ceremony as you can write each other a “Message to the Future” letter, then insert your letters into the time capsule and seal it during the ceremony, to then be opened at your 10th anniversary or whenever you choose. How romantic is that?

Our booth at the bridal expo hopefully gave inspiration for personalized ceremonies, decorative sign-in options, and helpful ideas for what to have guests do while they wait on the bride and groom to get their wedding photography done. Have the guests fill out the “Message to the Future” letters, writing predictions of where they see you in the future, how many kids you will have, or helpful advice like how to end a fight in the future. Most importantly, we had fun with our brides at the expo.

A wedding time capsule is perfect to save all your important free bridal magazines and sample photos or fabric swatches you pick up, from booth to booth. These are the special shows you attended that helped you create your perfect wedding day. Save these as part of your wedding story, to tell your future children.

Wedding Time Capsule

As a way to say Thank you back to our brides who may visit us at bridal shows, we wanted to share some wedding show shopping tips with you. It can be overwhelming with so many booths to look at. Remember my husband and I was there once too. We understand.

1. Don’t be afraid to ask a lot of questions if you do not understand. This will help you eliminate who may not be the right fit to work on your wedding day with you. You want your personalities to connect.

2. Make sure to collect all of the brochures and business cards to review later. Make notes on the back of the business cards to remind you of what the product or service is about. Then you can review pricing later and do not have to talk to anyone if you are too tired and ready to go home. Oh yeah, and wear comfortable shoes too. At least you will not have to exercise that day, due to all the walking at the bridal show.

3. Print out the list of vendors who will be at the show, and the floor plan, before you come. Check out their website. Highlight the must see booths, on the list. Also bring a pen to make notes. This helps you be less stressed to prepare for your wedding day.

4. Print address labels before coming, so you will not get tired of filling out your information for vendors. Just stick a label on their paper to contact you later or for prizes.

5. Bring snacks and water to keep your energy up, along with your comfortable shoes.

6. Make sure you do not have any regrets later, and stick to your budget. Make sure the vendors have your best interest at heart, and not wanting to just sell you something. Your wedding day is one of the most important milestone moments to celebrate your life.

7. Bring a bag to collect all your information in one location to review later.

8. Bring your credit card, checks, or cash in case you want to buy something or need to put a deposit down. Many vendors have great deals or discounts at the shows. Take advantage of them. Make sure you read what you are signing before purchasing or entering a contest.

9. Bring swatches of your colors of material for the bridesmaid’s dresses or wedding gown, to match to other decorations, flowers, etc.

10. Bring your ID in case you need it if you win a prize.

11. Most importantly, have fun! Taste that sample cake. Enjoy your day. Make the most out of each moment, talking to the different vendors. Remember they are people too, who possibly have already been married and understand your emotions. We hope to see you at a future show.

It overjoyed us to see so many couples holding hands, standing close to each other, laughing, and bursting with excitement as they saw the “perfect dress,” at the bridal show. Capture these moments to relive this day again in the future with a decorative wedding time capsule from www.timecapsule.com. Once again, we say Thank You to all you special brides who take interest in connecting with us, or like our wedding time capsule.
