Save Everyday Moments
Save Everyday Moments
Do you ever wish you could save everyday moments as soon as they happen? Document your memories as soon as they happen, by carrying a day planner around with you everyday. You can also look up so many apps now available that will record what you say and type it up for you in the moment. As simple as it is to talk to your coworkers, friends, or family daily so it is easy to talk to an app on our smart phone now, and leave a note about what happened in our lives that day.
This is one of the reasons why I recently started the Facebook group, Time Capsule of This Life. I invite you to visit this Facebook group, and have fun posting photos of your daily life. It is a group that will be for encouraging each other, sharing memories, and leaving a legacy for future generations about what our daily life looks like currently. This is not a group for being mean, making fun of others, or being negative in any way. So, come on over and join us here.
Share with the world your memories, stories, accomplishments, and lessons from this year in the Facebook group. What are you doing with what you have been given in life, to change the world and it’s people for the better? Leave a legacy today.
Most of us all have family albums that have pictures in them from our birthdays, Fourth of July picnics, family reunions, school, parties, etc. However, many times what we do not have are photographs of what we look like when we wake up in the morning. Take a photo of that funny hair in the morning look. Do you have a picture or video saved when you first learned how to tie your shoes, the first day of Winter, your first A on a report card, or your first time you fell down and skinned your knee having too much fun playing? Do you have photos of riding your bikes around the neighborhood on a regular day at home? What other things can you think of that would be great to save everyday moments for?
Many of these photos of our everyday moments in between milestone moments, would help fill in chronologically in our photo albums connecting the dots between the years of things that happened. Have you every taken a photo of your children getting along after problem solving through their argument. This will be proof later on that they can work things out and get along when they say they do not like each other anymore.
What about the days your kids make a special treat with you, and it is not a special holiday? How messy does the kitchen get? Who helps with what part? These are all fun photos to take to save everyday moments, and reminisce years later about the good old days. Save these photos in a Baby, Wedding, or “Any Occasion” DIY Time Capsule that you make for the family or your friends. You can get one of these time capsules here. Click on the photo above for a long list of ideas of what to put in your time capsule.
It is a blast from the past party, when you open the time capsule and remember all these great photos, along with other mementos or memorabilia you saved from they everyday moments. You may have forgotten about that toy you played with all the time from the cereal box, but not when you pull that toy out of your time capsule again. A rush of memories will come to mind. Have fun.
Making Milestone Moments Count,
– Marcie
