Rewind the Clock
Rewind the Clock
Rewind the clock. Have you ever wanted to go back in time? Where would you go again? Who would be with you or what would you do? It is like being a time traveler. Isn’t it interesting how when we are younger, we can’t wait to grow up. Then, when we are older, we want to be young again.
When we rewind the clock back, for time changes, every year, I can’t help but think about the good old days. What did you enjoy doing the most when you were younger? Do you still do some of these hobbies or interests to this day?
When you learn something new, your brain has to slow down and really focus. This makes time go by slower, in a sense. So, keep learning, do different things, go different places, meet new people, and be spontaneous. Send new information to your brain, and slow down time. With the New Year upon us, add a New Year’s resolution to read a new book once per month or quarter, based on your daily schedule or time you have. You will not regret it.
The Remote of Life – The Movie “Click”
Have you seen the movie, “Click” with Adam Sandler? He is a family man who seems to have it all, but his wife gets more and ore frustrated by the amount of time he has to spend at his job.The father, Adam, starts to feel bad because he cannot be at both home and work at the same time. He meets someone who gives him a universal remote that controls time. At the beginning, he is excited he can skip the boring times or mute certain things in his life, until he realizes the remote is in control of his life. He then learns to cherish all the precious moments with his family. I do not want to give more of the story away, in case you have not seen it yet. Go watch this movie. It will make you think.
Many times, we don’t know what we have until it is gone. Sometimes our days go by so fast, we say things like, “where did the time go?” I caught myself just yesterday saying, “how is it already Christmas?” Time flies when you are having fun.
Reminiscing is the key to unlocking our past. It is a way to rewind the clock. When you look at your past memories it can provide significance to why you are who you are, or do the things you do. Our memories can bring purpose to our lives. So, rewind the clock and reminisce with a time capsule. Pull out old photos, mementos, and memorabilia from you life, your family and friends, or other special events you have been to in the past.
Get a decorative and artistic Baby, Wedding, or “Any Occasion” DIY Time Capsule seen here. Start making memories today to preserve in this time capsule. Then, 10, 20, or 30 years from now, open your time capsule. Rewind the clock and reminisce about what life was like when your baby was born. It is a priceless, heartfelt, and enduring gift.
