Live Beyond Now
Live Beyond Now
What are you doing to live beyond now? Talking with a stranger at Walmart the other night made me so sad. He said he only wished he was close enough to his family to save all of their stories and pass them on to his own children. There is so much going on in the world today, that is is so important to think about how you will live beyond now? What will the world be like in 20 to 30 years? Will you still be here? If not, how will you leave a legacy for your family?
Telling our stories is one thing, but keeping them alive is the most important thing. We all have wisdom, life lessons, and great stories to share with our children and great grandchildren. In this busy, instant world it is hard to slow down and think about why you are doing, what you are doing. Whether it be making a meal for your children, talking on the phone, or working hard to pursue your dreams, live beyond now. Take the time to stop and think about how this will apply to my future. Enjoy the moment, but also capture it to help you realize something deeper. We all have the same hours in a day. What do you do with your hours?
Live beyond now and preserve your story and memories with a time capsule. Have you ever found something you though you lost, years later. It is an exciting moment to find that item again. Imagine purposefully saving heirloom items, memories, and meaningful mementos in a time capsule. It is a great way to live beyond now, as you can pass this time capsule down in your family leaving your legacy, stories, wisdom, and memorabilia. Interview your grandparents about their life story. You will not regret it.
We want to hear your stories about some of your most important life lessons. Use the hashtag #livebeyondnow, when sharing on social media. You can tag our company @theoriginaltimecapsule on Facebook too. We want to start a movement that helps everyone slow down in this world and makes an impact on future generations. How will you be a part of history and live beyond now?
Inside the time capsule, she finds her birth certificate, along with the story of how she was born. She was amazing woman who influenced many. Pass on your family history. Many would have loved to know more about her story, but are grateful she preserved as much of it as she did. Her old diary was in the time capsule, along with a lock of her hair. She also left her favorite perfume in there, so that the time capsule always smelled like her. It was like she was still there when you could physically touch and hold some of her most prized possessions. Finally, the family pulled out the “message to the future” letter she had written each grandchild. Her wishes and predictions for their future were pretty accurate. She was a woman filled with grace, knowledge, and always knew how to have fun even during the difficult times.
Choose to live beyond now, and leave your story too. You never know what tomorrow may bring, but you can make sure you tell your story today. What is a live beyond now story you can tell us today? Comment below.
Making Milestone Moments Count,
