Journal Fun for Everyone
There is journal fun for everyone each day. When you look around you and what is going on in your life, there is plenty to write about. There are many benefits of journal fun. A journal does not judge you for what you have to say or do. It is a great way to escape your day and get things out of your system or head. So many times we want to say things to other people, especially on social media nowadays, and we have to stop and think what will happen if we do. With a journal, you do not have to worry about negative comments coming back at you. You just say what you feel like, and then hopefully feel better.
Working in counseling for years, I had several clients need to just say things, and not have anyone respond back at all. Sometimes it is also easier to focus on what you need to do, when you write things down and know you can come back later to work on them again. Another way to have journal fun, is that looking back at all your journal entries, can help you pinpoint patterns of behavior or things that you see you need to change. This is why doctors challenge you to write down everything you are eating when you are trying to lose weight, so you know when things are going wrong.
Journaling can be very helpful to make changes for the better in our lives. Recognize behaviors of people or situations that make you feel bad, remove yourself more often from them, and notice how you feel at the end of your day. Journaling may just change your life in a positive way. Then start writing about your good, positive day and see how your feelings change over time.
Whether young or old, there is journal fun for everyone. Sometimes, we may ask, how do I keep a journal going? Use the motivation of journaling itself to keep you going. If every day, you record your progress, your dopamine (a neurotransmitter) in your brain helps you feel happy, strong, and inspired, motivating you to keep going.
Track your daily progress, to help you feel accomplished. Psychologically, writing in a journal every day helps you stay positive and keep your productivity high. Record daily insights. When we focus on the positive things in life, it helps bring us out of a depressions, let alone moves us forward and remember things better. That is journal fun for everyone. Increasing our feelings of gratitude is a good thing, so that we have more blessings to concentrate on when things are not going right. Instead of being angry that you were late to your work meeting during a bad traffic jam, record in your journal how thankful you are that you were not the one in the accident that happened that day. It is all a matter of perspective.
Many people throughout my life have asked me, how do you maintain your positive attitude and constantly have a smile? If your mind is constantly worrying or negative ideas, then your creativity fails. I don’t have time in my entrepreneur life to have creativity fail. Besides, I want to save all my journal pages in my own DIY time capsule, so 20 to 30 years later I can open it and read or see what all I have accomplished in life. My life matters, and so does yours, so that is ultimately why there is journal fun for everyone.
So, why do you journal? Comment below.
Making Milestone Moments Count,
