Facebook Time Capsule
Facebook Time Capsule
Have you seen the Facebook time capsule come up in your news feed? It says something like, “on this day” in history you shared this. Then, it shows an old photo you saved to Facebook years or months ago. It is a quick way to reminisce about things you may have forgotten about.
It is so important to celebrate every day of your life. You never know what each day will bring. This is why we do what we do and sell decorative and heartfelt Baby, Wedding, and “Any Occasion” DIY Time Capsules at our company. We you receive the Baby Time Capsule for your child, we even go so far as to recommend you recreate events as close as possible to take photos, video, or gather mementos to save in the time capsule.
No Regrets
Take that favorite trip again to your child’s toy store where he or she got their first toy. Go on that family vacation again in the future and bring back the sand from the beach. We do not want your children saying, “Mom, I wish you would have taken more pictures of me and the adults when I was little.”
This is why the Facebook Time Capsule is so fun. Your child can open up your Facebook page 10, 20, or 30 years in the future, and see what color your hair was. When did their dad’s hair start going bald or grey? It is also a great way to help your child stay connected to their long lost Uncle (or other family member) they have not seen in years. Most importantly, make sure your family members tell stories of their daily lives on Facebook or other social media, so these pages can be printed and then saved in the Baby Time Capsule.
Make Your Own Decorative Facebook Time Capsule
It can be a gift for yourself or something you make with your family and friends. Do you have a certain letter from someone special in your life, that you cannot get rid of? I still have a recommendation letter from a professor of mine, that I am extremely proud of and sometimes I get it out to remind myself that I can accomplish hard things in life.
It is uplifting to read this precious letter. Sometimes it is even more important to hold a tangible item left from someone who means so much to us. It takes you back in time to a memorable and impacting moment in your life that had meaning. This letter is not something I want to carry in my purse forever, because it would get ruined. This keepsake and other sentimental items are examples of things you may want to save in your Facebook Time Capsule that you make from the “Any Occasion” DIY Time Capsule.
All of your photos you have saved on Facebook or other social media can be preserved or you can print some and put them on the outside of your DIY Time Capsule decorating it however you want. You can even write on the outside of this DIY Time Capusle, or paint on it. What other things would you like to save from your Facebook or other social media accounts, to pass on to your future children or great grandchildren? If they are videos, you could save them to your personal You Tube account. Then, put the link to all these videos in the your time capsule you make or the Baby Time Capsule, to let yourself or your child open and go to the link to watch them, 20 or 30 years from now.
So, what would you save in your Facebook Time Capsule? Comment below.
Making Milestone Moments Count,
