Pregnancy Diary Questions
Answer some of these pregnancy diary questions, and you will thank yourself later. Preserve memories today, because they are tomorrow’s precious gifts. Imagine filling a decorative baby time capsule, meant to be displayed or hidden in a closet for years, with memories from your pregnancy diary questions and other memorabilia.
Many women have different experiences to share about their pregnancy. Keep in mind, it is fun and important for the father to fill out some pregnancy diary questions too. In the future, when your child is grown and opens their own baby time capsule, it will be funny and interesting to read about the father’s experiences as well.
Save your pregnancy diary questions in a Baby Time Capsule.
On a date of your choosing, gather your family and friends for a baby time capsule opening ceremony and reminisce about what life was like when your baby was born. There will be many laughs, tears, and inspiring ears listening as many “Message to the Future” letters are read from all of those who wrote them during the baby shower a long time ago. What predictions did everyone make for the baby, and did they come true?
In our last blog, we talked about questions for a new mother’s day journal. Pregnancy is a beautiful gift, filled with many memories to record. Let’s continue with some of these other pregnancy diary questions.
- After describing yourselves as parents a little, as discussed in the previous blogs, list some of your life goals, and how you think they may change after having your baby.
- How do you think your strengths will help you raise your baby? How do you think your weaknesses will effect you as well?
- Who are the most important people in your life currently, and how do you think they can help you with your pregnancy and taking care of your new baby?
- If you already have children, how do you think they will interact with the new baby as siblings?
- What are some things you will try to make sure your kids do together as they grow up, to help them bond?
- How will you care for your baby, that will be different than your parents?
- Record your thoughts about what it is like to go to your doctor visits? What was your first visit like?
- What was it like seeing your baby for the first time while having an ultrasound? Who all was with you that day?
- What was the first pregnancy book you bought, to learn about pregnancy? How did it help you?
- Record the little moments on video, like when you first heard the baby’s heartbeat, the baby kicking, etc. Save these pregnancy diary questions and videos in the baby time capsule.
- What were some of your food cravings?
- What all did the father do to provide for you during your pregnancy?
- How did you feel most of the time during your pregnancy? What were your symptoms, of being pregnant?
- Who was the first person, you did not tell, that realized you were pregnant?
- When is the first time you noticed your belly growing?
Save other mementos along with these pregnancy diary questions in a baby time capsule, seen here. You do not bury this time capsule, so it will not ruin all the sentimental items inside. Save things like baby’s first shoes, an heirloom item from your baby’s great grandfather, and other very special mementos and memorabilia from baby’s first year of life. This will be one time capsule opening ceremony you will never forget.
So, what would you save in your baby’s time capsule? Comment below.
Making Milestone Moments Count,
