Organize Your Favorite Memories of Your Children
Organize your favorite memories of your children. They grow up so fast. You know how they say that time flies. This is especially true when it comes to bringing up our children. All of us live such hectic daily lives, trying to balance professional and personal obligations and wondering where the time goes. It seems that no sooner have we jumped from bed in the morning and pulled children from their nursery bedding than it is time for a nightcap all over again. A new baby places considerable additional stress on the time, and sometimes it isn’t hard to overlook those very special moments in the creation of our precious child.
Rаіsіng а сhіld іs оnе оf thе mоst sаtіsfуіng реrіоds оf оur lіfе. You put everything into it and before you know it, your newborn baby is off to kindergarten, then away to college as well as going out on his or her very first date! Dоn’t lеt thіs wоndеrful tіmе раss уоu bу wіth оnlу thе fаdіng mеmоrіеs іn уоur hеаd tо kеер уоu соmраnу. Think about designing and maintaining a memory board to capture all those special moments and store those little bits and pieces that may not mean much to somebody else, but have a special meaning to you.
A memory board should be placed in a prominent place inside the house – ideally in the nursery to start off with. Make sure that your board is of significant size and is made of sturdy material. Ideally, it should be specifically created for the purpose. Make certain that you’ve got plenty of hooks readily available so that you don’t need to search for them when you’d like to add something new, as this will likely distract you from what you meant to do to start with – that will be attaching your memories, don’t forget, to the board.
If you are, like me, a fan of Harry Potter, then you’ll have seen in the latest movie how the school principal retains his important memories in several of vials. That may be OK if you’re a wizard, but we’ll have to rely on our memory board to serve us well.
When it comes to placing items on the memory board, photographs will take up most of the space. Nowadays you can get sophisticated cameras that produce great results quite inexpensively, and you can also purchase those terrific photo printers to make certain that you print out those magic moments straight away. Don’t let the perfect memories languish on a digital disk, as you’ll just forget.
Along with photographs you might want to place cards from well-wishers, for instance. Ensure that you’re in a creative state of mind when you pin things to the board and don’t do it in certain regimented manner, but with some personal flair, so it looks nice. Don’t be tempted to fill the board up completely immediately, although you can always reevaluate your greatest memories as baby grows older and you need to make room for new pieces.
As you and your baby grow through life, you’ll realize that your memory board starts to contain snippets from college life, sporting achievements and so on, but try and maintain a balance that reflects the very reason for you getting this thing in the first place – to keep an eye on your kid ‘s development. As a nursery decoration, the memory board should be on your list of baby accessories to purchase.
One of the most creative, heartfelt, enduring, and unique ways to organize your favorite memories of your children, is to make them a baby time capsule. Then, on a date of your choosing decades in the future, when they are old enough to appreciate it, let them open their baby time capsule and reminisce about what life was like the year they were born. Have family and friends write “message to the future” letters to the child, to read in the future. Make fun predictions about what he or she will do when they grow up. How much will gas be in 20 or 30 years? It is a gift that is for the child, and the family in the future, as you all get to reminisce about so many special memories and tangible, favorite mementos or memorabilia in the time capsule.
