Organize your Crafting Space
Organize your crafting space today and get started making memorable fun. With our days filled with so many things to take up our time, you may feel like you will never get to organize your crafting space. Between basketball or football practices, homework, meetings, parties, etc it seems like we are always busy. It may feel like you are always wearing many different hats as a mother, wife, employee, janitor, maid, etc. You are constantly on the go to school, work, church, home, errands, etc.
We want to help you find one peaceful place, even if it is just for 15 minutes to do what you enjoy. Slowly it would be a nice goal to increase your time you have in your favorite spot or safe haven away from the business of the world. The good news is, there are ways to work around the busiest of schedules so you do not have to feel like you need to give up your “me” time. It is important to have self-care time.
We want to help you create attractive, easy to do memorable projects that last a lifetime. We are all about saving mother’s time and helping them feel less guilt and shame for not having time to preserve their kid’s memories and mementos. That is one of the main reasons why the Baby Time Capsule was created in the first place. Simply put your baby’s first shoes, hospital bracelet, newspaper from the day your baby was born, a handwritten letter from the grandparents (using the “Message to the Future” stationary included), favorite toy, baby rattle, etc in your Baby Time Capsule.
Your mementos and memories may be shoved in a box somewhere in the attic or basement. You may feel overwhelmed with crafting papers, embellishments, photos, or other crafting supplies spread all over your desk. Your mind may be like mine where you cannot keep up with the many ideas of things you want to make but no time to do it.
A time capsule is like a simplified scrapbook, only better because you cannot keep your baby’s first shoes in a scrapbook and close the page. Over the next couple of weeks we will discuss many different ideas of how to organize your crafting space to continually make your life easier. From using inspirational quotes, different matting, glitter, stickers, journals, templates, we will help you organize and get started making memories.
Spice up the content of your life, by making sure you remember it. One of our first main tips to organize your crafting space is learning to make the most of the time you have, and not worrying about the time you don’t. Sometimes we can get so focused on the negative and overwhelming feelings we have that we have no clue where to start. Begin by finding only 5 minutes to clean and organize your crafting space. If you have to set a timer, do it. Over the next several days, if you keep that up, you will be amazed at how much you can accomplish. Sometimes I even put a portable tv in my crafting space and watch my favorite episodes for the evening, while organizing and cleaning during commercials.
In our next blog, we will discuss an idea about how to sort your photos chronologically. This will help save a lot of time later when you start your crafting projects or scrapbook pages.
Making Milestone Moments Count,
