Must Haves for a Baby Memory Book
Let’s look at some must haves for a baby memory book. Your days seem to fly by and you feel like you have no time at all to write things down, let alone keep track of all the changes you baby is going through. Your baby really does grow fast. It is just like they said it would be.
The Baby Shower Memories
Because you are so limited on time, we wanted to help you get started on making sure you are at least saving the most important things in your baby memory book. If you get a chance to, make sure to start with your baby shower. While you are opening the gifts that you have been blessed with, make sure to have someone else keep track of all the names and present that was given to you by each person. Also make sure someone else is taking pictures of all this fun at the baby shower, so your child can see what it was like before he or she was born.
The Arrival Day
Where did your baby come from? Natural birth or adoption? Who does your child look more like (mother or father)? You can make your own baby memory book, but if you buy one make sure it includes the details about the trip to the hospital in addition to the time when the baby arrives. Again, those stories before the main scene in a story are all important. One of the must haves for a baby memory book is the first photograph, along with the important physical details like arrival time, date, weight, length, color of hair, eyes, hospital, doctor, and pediatrician. You may also include a photo of the visitors who came the first day to meet your baby. Also make sure to have someone go buy a newspaper the day your baby was born. Then you will have most of the major events on record somewhere happening the day your baby was born. That will be interesting to read years later for your child, when he or she is fully grown and opens their own Baby Time Capsule 18 to 20 years later. What else would you put in their Baby Time Capsule from the first year your child was born? Get a decorative and cute Baby Time Capsule here today.
Homecoming
Record baby’s first day home and who was there to help. What was your baby’s first reactions? Again, make sure to take photos. Record not so fun moments now, that may be funny in the future. Include how few of hours of sleep you got your first week as a parent. Record all the funny faces your baby made the first week. Include photos of the many different sleeping positions you and your baby had the first week. What did the house look like your first week? Also make sure to include a video of the arrival home and the first week.
