  1. Wow, Teddy Ruxpin and Nintendo 64!! I saved for months for the Nintendo 64 and then all the neighborhood kids and I would play for HOURS - Super Mario Bros, The Legend of Zelda, and Tetris! Blast from the past.
    1. Faye, Thank you so, so much for your comment. It is always fun reading comments from others in blogs. Blast from the past indeed. I hear you. My parent's could not afford to buy the Nintendo, so we all had to pitch in as a team and save up for it. It actually drew my brothers and I closer as a family. We always had to get our homework done first, but then played for hours before bed. We were definitely fans of Mario ourselves. Marcie
  2. Oh how I loved our Nintendo! I was a late 80s baby, but I certainly remember all things things. Today, I would probably put a SD card (full of pictures), a smart phone, and a dollar bill to show the evolution of the look of currency. Thanks for reminding me of the good 'ol days.
    1. Teri, Thank you for your comment. Those are good ideas to put in a time capsule. Whatever you do, make sure you remember to include or save a means to play back that SD card. Also take out your battery on your phone so that it does not explode and you can still use it in the long-term future. A dollar bill is a great idea too. I love it. Thanks for sharing. Marcie
