Selfies are Healthy
Selfies are Healthy
Selfies are healthy, when it comes to wanting to keep your memories alive long after you are gone. In our last blog, I discussed what you have to eliminate to grow, as inspired by a recent live video I saw on Becky Higgins Facebook page, about weight loss. This is a continuation of that blog, in hopes that it will inspire you too.
Lately, I have been wanting to do Facebook live videos to help others learn how to bond closer and live each day as if the last, but I am embarrassed by my weight. However, I learned a lesson today that rang true with me and our business. I am wanting to teach others about how to tell your story with a time capsule and leave a legacy. Maybe as I continue my journey, I will share more tips about weight loss on these live videos. So many people can relate to weight loss issues, and I want to help any way I can.
When it comes to weight loss or anything you need to eliminate to grow, learn about yourself more, and find what works for you while making it fun at the same time. Live a legacy. Leave a legacy for your children and grandchildren, and learn to eliminate to grow.
Feel good about yourself. If you have a low self esteem, start putting post it notes around your house with at least one positive statement about you, to read every time you see it. I recently turned 40 and you really start thinking about life at this age, and what you have done with it so far. Do you remember what all you did when you were 10?
What all have you accomplished this past year with your weight loss? Maybe take photos of your weight loss in your new favorite outfit and save that in your weight loss time capsule. Selfies are healthy, because you can save a photo of you and your favorite healthy recipe to save in the weight loss time capsule and pass on to your children and grandchildren to try.
I have never watched a Facebook live video all the way through, but this message really aligned with my new feelings and why I think selfies are healthy. What you do now will influence you and your family in the long run. Live a legacy and leave a legacy. I am almost crying as I am emphasizing this. I have wanted to teach more through live Facebook videos myself, however I shy away due to my weight. We do what we do because we want you to share your story, which includes photos and videos. I wish so bad we had more photos and videos of my grandma and grandpa on my mother’s side.
I live and grew up in Indiana. My grandparents lived in Texas all my life, and I rarely saw them. They were such an inspiration to me, even through phone calls or the rare visit. As I have reflected recently, I want you to realize how much selfies are healthy. You need to be able to pass on photos of you having fun or just living life with your friends and family. Thank you Becky Higgins for this reminder.
We can all constantly find something we do not like about ourselves, especially if we are a woman. Do not let your fears stop you from living and leaving a legacy. Live each day as if the last and make videos and photos of yourself, to leave for your loved ones. You are the story that someone needs to learn from, in the future, long after you are gone. Share your story in a weight loss time capsule, or make your own family time capsule saving photos and videos of yourself. It is one heartfelt, enduring, and unique gift you will never regret giving yourself or those you love.
So, share a selfie of you having fun in life, in the comments. We want to get to know our fans better.
Making Milestone Moments Count,
– Marcie
