Reminisce with Fuller House
Reminisce with Fuller House and watch a flood of memories come to mind. They even help you by showing you old clips and old sayings from this great old show, Full House. The kids are all grown and have kids of their own. It is funny how some of the grand children have similar family traits and Danny, the grandfather now, like his cleaning obsessions. It makes me think about what similar traits I have from my parents or grandparents.
Compared to then and now, the characters or actors have not changed that much. They all look great. Uncle Jesse, Aunt Becky, Danny, Joey, Stephanie, DJ, and even Comet’s puppies look the same. Talk about doing a great job as preserving time with this show, even the house looks well kept.
It is a more up to date show for this era, but it still has all the cute and touching themes, like being family focused, willing to help each other, and funny. The show gives so many feelings of nostalgia. Would you like to live in the Tanner house? What do you think it would be like?
There are mother daughter moments that bring tears to your eyes as it gives you a longing to call your mother, if you can. There are sibling fights that make you wonder how you ever survived some days with your brother or sister. We grew up gathered on the couch together for TGIF night with the family. Some of our family jokes and sayings come from the great old show of Full House. Hearing these similar phrases restated on the Fuller House show brings back so many memories. I have a feeling there will be many people going around and reliving their childhood saying things again like, “How rude.” and “Have mercy.” It is so much fun to relive our past. It is like opening up a time capsule to relive what life was like when we were growing up in the ’90s.
A time when we were taught to apologize to each other and “hug it out.” Problem solving skills involved talking things out and learning how to compromise. These are some of the themes continued in the updated Fuller House show too. A show that so many people can relate to, especially parents every day, it is sure to tug at the heart strings and make you laugh and have the warm fuzzy feelings as the family bonds closer together.
There are some real moments in the new show, Fuller House, that makes you think about how you are raising your children and how what your kids do today is still similar to what you did as a child when you were younger. In a house full of people who love each other, there is nothing in the world like support of family when things get tough.
So, go to Netflix and reminisce with Fuller House. After one episode each night with your family, talk about what you learned as a family and work on making your own Family Time Capsule together at the same time. Have each family member write down things they learned. It will be interesting to read these comments 20 years from now when you re-open this Family Time Capsule. Also include other mementos and memorabilia in your Family Time Capsule that represents who you are together. What are some of your family sayings? Include family photos that mean a lot to you. Have each family member fill out a “Message to the Future” letter about where they see themselves 20 years from now. Make predictions about what you think will happen in the future. The handwriting alone will be interesting to see in your children from the past, as it changes over time.
So who is your favorite character on Fuller House? Comment below.
Making Milestone Moments Count,
