Life Vision
Life Vision
It is amazing that we all have eyes to see yet how we interpret things in front of us can be so different.
As a young girl I always had a strong vision of what my future would look like. Not everything in life goes according to plan. It really is amazing that two different people can look at the same thing and see opportunity or challenge, and hope or despair. Perspective is everything.
These are some of the most important lessons you can teach your children. With so much negativity going on in the world, teach your children important lessons, virtues, and healthy ways of living. Teach your child to have a positive life vision and how to accomplish it.
The way and how you see something can have a major influence on how you live, and affect your social, emotional, and mental behavior. In return, your life vision is impacted as well.
You can go to a bad part of town, and see a need for help or be scared to ever go again, missing out on a possible opportunity.
Where are you going in life? What do you want to do with your gifts and talents? Also, look at your surroundings, associations, and things or people around you that could be hampering your life vision or goals. When we assess our lives consistently, we continue to move forward toward our greater life vision.
It may take time to get to your life vision. Do not give up. Find strong mentors, positive friends, and work on changing your heart and mind, which overall affects how you see your own life vision and things around you.
Save your life vision, goals, bucket list or whatever you call it in a life journey time capsule. Look back at the special items you save from this year, that defines who you are now, decades later. Reminisce about how much you accomplished in life toward your life vision in 20 or 30 years. It will motivate and inspire you to keep doing good in this world.
Use your own photos, and any background you want to make a life journey time capsule. Then, choose a date, years in the future, to open your time capsule. Put the date on the lid and wait in anticipation, as you work on your life vision.
There can be so many things that can overwhelm us, however when you surround yourself with loved ones, it makes it easier to work through problems. A life vision is like a blueprint for a house. How do you want your house to look? What do you want it to be built out of, so it can stand strong during a storm? Build a strong life vision as well. Do not fall into the trap of building a home like everyone else in life. Everyone is different, so use what you have for creating the best life vision you can, to help make this world better.
I was challenged by my parents to create a list of what I want to accomplish in life. I created my own 5, 10, 20, and 30 year life vision or goals at a young age. Some things have changed along the way due to life circumstances, however some things have been added too, due to meeting new, great mentors and having more opportunities in life as the years went along. So, take advantage of today and create your own life vision list of goals to save in your life journey time capsule.
What are some of your goals for your life vision? Comment below.
Making Milestone Moments Count,
