Graduation Day
Graduation Day
Graduation day is almost here. There is a rush of memories going through your mind. It seems like it was just yesterday when you started high school. You may have lost or gained new friends throughout your high school years.
As a new chapter is starting in your life journey, it can be hard to let go. There have been times that caused you to think about your life and pay attention to things that were influencing you in a negative way, like seeing other friends go down the wrong path and making unhealthy choices. There have also been times that you never want to forget, as you have celebrated good memories and moments with your best friends. These are the moments you want to capture and save souvenirs or mementos in a best friend or graduation time capsule.
Make a graduation time capsule.
Imagine being able to open this time capsule again, on a date of your choosing, in 20 or 30 years after you graduate high school. You might pull out an old favorite shirt you wore all the time during high school. You may also find an old ticket stub from a movie you went to with your best friend, or pressed flowers from prom with a photo of you and your first, real boyfriend.
So as graduation commencement day arrives, you are surrounded by your friends, teachers, family, mentors, and other supporters in your life journey so far. The excitement builds as you wait to throw your graduation day cap in the air. No one can ever take away this memory on graduation day and moment in time.
Embrace this feeling of what all you have accomplished and enjoy one of the most heartfelt, enduring, and unique gifts, which is a graduation time capsule. Save all the important and most sentimental mementos and memorabilia from your senior year in high school up until graduation day.
Save your memories and mementos.
Your high school years were times when you made many important decisions, while also going through peer pressure and puberty at the same time. What were you know as in high school? Were you voted most likely to succeed, class clown, prettiest, etc? A graduation time capsule is a great place to store all of your year books as well. The time capsule is a place to tell your story during this special time in your life, shaping who you are.
Your story is the legacy you leave in your high school. Preserve that story in a graduation time capsule as well. Whether you are a parent, grandparent, or a student reading this blog, this is a must have graduation day gift. Maybe you already started a similar time capsule for your child in kindergarten. Graduation day would be a perfect time to open that time capsule and reminisce about what life was like when your baby first entered school.
You may or may not feel any different on graduation day, but your life is definitely about to change. Go after your dreams using your gifts and talents for good in the world. So, what was your favorite memory from your graduation day or senior year in high school? Comment below.
Making Milestone Moments Count,
